Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in January 2021 was 119.23, an increase of 1.19 percent over the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) rose by 1.96 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.76 percent.

In January 2021, Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 98.28 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 108.75 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 124.24 for the sub-sector of smallholding crops (NTPR); 97.93 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 108.70 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTNP), which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 111.87 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 98.05.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) Jambi Province in January 2021 was 121.24, an increase of 1.47 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.

Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.83 percent. Inflation occurred in ten household consumption groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; Clothing and Footwear group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Other Fuels group; Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Care group; Health group; Transportation group; Information, Communication and Financial Services group; Recreation, Sports and Culture group; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply group; as well as the Personal Care and Other Services group. While in the Education group there was no change in index.
