Abstract

The economy of Jambi Province in 2020 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current price reaches IDR 206.85 trillion and PDRB Per capita reaches IDR 56.24 million. The economy of Jambi Province in 2020 contracted 0.46 percent.
From the production side, the contraction occurred in some business fields, with the deepest contraction coming from Transportation and Warehousing at 14.43 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the deepest contraction came from the Export Component at 10.14 percent.
The economy of Jambi Province in the fourth quarter of 2020 contracted by 0.99 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the contraction occurred in most business fields, with the deepest contraction in the Transportation and Warehousing business sector at 12.01 percent. From the expenditure side, the deepest contraction occurred in the Export Component by 4.76 percent.
The economy of Jambi Province in the fourth quarter of 2020 increased by 1.80 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the construction business field occupies the highest growth with a growth rate of 16.21 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, it was achieved by the Government Expenditure Component (PK-P) which increased significantly by 40.34 percent.
The economic structure of Jambi Province in 2020 is dominated by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which provide the largest contribution to GRDP, which is 30.85 percent. Meanwhile, on the expenditure side, most of the GRDP was used for the Export Component, amounting to 63.28 percent.
