Abstract

The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in June 2021 was 124.08, down 0.01 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decrease in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) decreased by 0.59 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.58 percent.
In June 2021, Jambi Province's NTP for each sub-sector was recorded at 97.44 for the Food Crops (NTPP) sub-sector; 92.42 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 131.57 for the People's Plantation Plants (NTPR) sub-sector; 102.43 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT); and 110.72 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 114.02 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 99.71.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in Jambi Province in June 2021 was 124.29, down 0.83 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at minus 0.79 percent. Inflation occurred in four groups of household consumption, namely the Health group; Transportation group; and the Information, Communication and Financial Services group; and the Personal Care and Other Services group. Deflation occurred in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; Clothing and Footwear group; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups; and the Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance group. Meanwhile, the Recreation, Sports, and Culture group; Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group; and the Education group there was no change in the index.
