Abstract

Total Population of Jambi Province SP2020 Results (September 2020) of 3.55 million people. The average increase is 45.60 thousand people every year.
The population growth rate per year (2010 - 2020) is 1.34 percent, a decrease compared to the 2000 - 2010 period of 2.54 percent.
The percentage of the population of productive age (15 - 64 years) is 70.54 percent. Jambi Province is still in the demographic bonus period. The percentage of the elderly population was 7.77 percent, an increase compared to 2010 which was 5.48 percent.
The gender ratio is 104.13, which means that the total male population is more than the total female population. Jambi City with the largest population concentration is 606.20 thousand people, amounting to 17.08 percent of the total population of Jambi Province.
