Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in February 2021 was 118.38 or decreased by 0.72 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The decline in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) falling 0.48 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by 0.24 percent.

In February 2021, Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 97.79 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 104.26 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 123.60 for the sub-sector of smallholding crops (NTPR); 96.74 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 108.32 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTNP), which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 111.53 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 97.56.

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) Jambi Province in February 2021 was 120.37 or decreased by 0.71 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.

Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.24 percent. Inflation occurred in eight household consumption groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; Clothing and Footwear group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Other Fuels group; Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Care group; Health group; Transportation group; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply group; as well as the Personal Care and Other Services group. Meanwhile, in the Information, Communication and Financial Services group; Recreation, Sports and Culture group; as well as the Education group there was no change in index.
