Abstract

The number of labor force based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in August 2024 was 168.51 thousand people, down 2.89 thousand people compared to August 2023. The Labor Force Rate (TPAK) fell by 3.36 percentage points compared to August 2023.

The working population in August 2024 was 163.11 thousand people, an increase of 4.23 thousand people from August 2023. The business sector that experienced the largest increase was Agriculture, an increase of 7.97 thousand people.

In August 2024, 63.41 thousand people (38.87 percent) worked in formal activities, an increase of 3.85 percentage points compared to August 2023.

Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2024 was 3.20 percent, an increase of 0.25 percentage points compared to August 2023.
